Online – Introduction (Theory) Options

Designed for Fire & Rescue Service, Police Service personnel and other professionals who routinely undertake ‘Tier One’ scene investigations.

NB. As at July 2024 over 2800 delegates have registered for these options.

Practical 5-day – Residential

Designed for public and private sector personnel who carry out routine ‘Tier One’ fire scene investigations, who are taking on the more demanding roles and responsibilities at ‘Tier Two’ fire scenes.

Practical Development Refresher (PDR) 3-day – Residential

Designed for Fire & Rescue Service and Police Service personnel and other experienced professionals, such as Forensic Providers, who regularly carry out ‘Tier Two’ scene investigations. Some experienced practitioners with the appropriate level of knowledge and understanding, choose to combine their attendance at a 3 day PDR event with undertaking on the 4th or 5th day of the same week, the initial stages of our robust four-stage assessment process which is aligned to the Skills for Justice Awards Level 5 Certificate (L5C) in Fire Investigation, assessment criteria.

NB. As at July 2024 over 310 experienced practitioners have registered for the L5C.
